Disability Rights of North Carolina, a not-for-profit dedicated to preserving the rights of those disabled in the Tar Heel State, hosts information sessions about the Affordable Care Act in Raleigh on November 6 and November 12, 2013. These events are free to attend and take place from 1PM-2:30PM.

If individuals are unable to attend the sessions held at Disability Rights of North Carolina’s headquarters (2626 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 550 in Raleigh), there is a webinar option as well. In-person and online attendance both require registration, which can be found here.
The sessions will review how those with disabilities in North Carolina may acquire health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace or other insurance companies. Individuals interested in signing up for health care coverage, who work with people who have disabilities, or who want to learn more about how the Affordable Care Act will affect their family or friends with disabilities should attend.
